Microsoft employs “HoneyMonkeys” for security

An article in InformationWeek details how Microsoft uses a stream of
“HoneyMonkey” machines of varying degrees of patching to actively
search the internet for malicious code URL’s. Read the rest of the

Sounds like Microsoft is beginning to take a much more active role in
prevention rather than the old react and respond role it has taken in
the past.
