National Vulnerability Database

The government has taken to publishing the National Vulnerability
Database. While it’s an excellent idea for IT professionals to find
the vulnerabilities and patch them I can’t help but ask, what then of
the hackers that also are looking at this database? Not only is it
telling them where the vulnerability is, but how to take advantage of
