EU threatens US

Irrision over at SuperGeekBlog had this to say about this little tidbit on Guardian Unlimited about he EU claiming that the internet was going to fall apart if the US didn’t release control of it. Sounds an awful lot like a threat to me. Somehow, I just find it hard to believe that the internet could just fall apart. There are way too many businesses that have a vested interest in the internet staying up to just let it “fall apart.”
