Cnet is reporting that Intel has revealed the an Origami-like device at Cebit today. Based on the info that they have, it would appear that Brady was right and they are going to come in at close to $500.
Other sources are reporting more and more as the day progresses, including the first verifiable pictures of the Origami device. Check here, here, here, and here.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, I’m guessing that this device that we’ve all be calling the Origami is merely the hardware part of the entire picture. The actual Origami Project that Microsoft is touting is most likely something more. Perhaps a software package or new Operating System to go along with the Origami hardware? I suppose we’ll have to wait until March 9 to find out.
