The Group writing project is officially over. The master list has been updated. Now it’s time for us all to take a look at what some of our fellow writing projecters did. In all honesty, I just haven’t found the time to read them all. Maybe I will this weekend. So, for now, I’m gonna have a little fun with it.
Starting with the top 10 8 titles. The title of your post is very important. It’s what drags the readers eye in to the link and makes him/her click.
- Picasa Fun – Digg me out of this mess (points for obvious reference to digg.com)
- Surviving NJ – One small step for Blogkind
- Go Blog Yourself – Don’t Let your Boss see your Posting Times
- Small Dog’s Paradise – Bake it, Taste it, Savor it
- Designers who Blog – What other nuts should have been added to my bolts?
- John J. Symons – Biggest Mistake: Pressing the “Sign-Up” button on blogger
- Designer Ella – Gee, that’s a funny domain name
- Technosailor – Throw away my blog. I’m starting over.
And of course, a shortish list of titles that reference songs…
- Blueprint for finanacial prosperity – If I could turn back time…
- ItToolbox – If I could turn back time, If I could find a way
- The Retrospector – If I could turn back time…
- Rob Zazueta – Regrets, I’ve had a few…
- PCDoctor-Guide – Regrets… I have a few.. but then again, too few to mention(almost)
- MindGlob – One step forward, Two steps back
- Deblog – Regrets, I’ve had a few…
Plenty of music listeners out there. And before anyone mentions it, yes, my entry also made reference to a song. My title was Poor Michael Finnigan, Begin again if your curious.
Make sure you take a look at that list. Read a few, you’re bound to find a few fun tips.

Thanks for the honorable mention! 🙂
And I’d just like to say that the song reference was unintentional; though it’s a nice to know it had more meaning than I intended.
In all fairness to Damien, the whole “One step forward, Two steps back” could be said to be a reference to just about any genre, not just songs. The phrase has almost reached that iconic place where band-aids are. Every one calls them band-aids instead of fabric bandages.
There is at least one country song with those lyrics though. I just can’t seem to remember which one.
I’m on the song title list. If I had known that several other people would also name their blog after the Cher song “If I could turn back time” I would have chosen something a bit more unusual! I did start my article with a funny joke about Cher so it was kind of important to my whole speel. I think “Don’t Let your Boss see your Posting Times” is my favourite.
