I have to agree with Scoble. It really is sad.
Unfortunately for Microsoft, I think we may be seeing the beginning of the end. The software behemoth is starting to show signs of wear much like IBM did before their decline. A majority of the true talent that is available is siphoning itself off to places like Google and startups(like Niall and Scoble).
Don’t get me wrong, IBM never went away and neither will Microsoft but both of their glory days are either over or on their way.
I should disclose that I am a Microsoft shareholder.

Well, in all honesty Leroy, I don’t have that many shares of MSFT so I doubt that I will sell them. As long as the company doesn’t disappear completely, I see no reason not to hold on to them for 20-30 years anyways.
