Stowe Boyd talked a little about it here, but I just had to give it a try. Monster has added a new “test” much like some of those personality tests you used to take in high school that were supposed to determine/guide you towards your career of choice. Obviously, it’s probably a good addition to a job site like Monster, but is it accurate?

I decided to find out. I went and logged in and took it for myself.

Based on what I see in the results, I would say that it seems fairly accurate.  As far as these types of tests go.   It did seem to come pretty close to nailing me.  The problem I have with test like this is that I entered the information.  The questions generally aren’t all that vieled, so it’s pretty easy to skew the results to tell you what you want to hear.  If I had decided that I wanted to hear that I’m a risk taking commandant of the workforce, I could have changed my answers to give that result.

It’s fun to play around with however.
