The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in Heaven;
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven;
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
And the power,
And the glory,
For ever and ever.

The church I attended for Easter Sunday replaced trepasses/trespass with debtors/debts which I’ve experienced before but just can’t quite get used to. I learned it the way you have it printed here and I guess I don’t really see the value in changing it. Oh well…

It makes a person wonder how it was originally. Was it translated from Hebrew? Aramaeic? Much like the “lost” gospels of Judas, Mary, Enoch, etc… and many of the ones included in the Bible, there will always be a question of what was lost in translation.

The gospels of Judas, Mary, Enoch, never heard of them. Googled Judas’s, seems kind of interesting.
