This is pretty darn exciting.

Like Capt. Mal Reynolds stumbling in after a bar fight, the short-lived but much beloved sci-fi series Firefly will soon make an unexpected return, not as a TV show, but as a massively multiplayer online game.

I hope they do it justice. If you haven’t seen the fox series that started it all, you should. Buy it at Amazon, download it(legally if you can), and watch them all. Then go out and rent, buy, or download(again, legally if you can) the movie Serenity. Watch that too. If you aren’t a fan of the show/movie after that I can’t be responsible for your lack of coolness. Ok, I’m just kidding. But seriously, I think the series and the movie were/are great and I can’t wait to give Multiverse’s firefly MMORPG a test drive.
