When I first visited your blog I was also a bit confused by the title (had no idea that Ede was your surname). Went to online dictionary for translation and got some funny results like “External Debt Exchange”:)

My sincere respect to you for “I embraced the indifference of ‘that ede guy’”… I would probably get offended by such introduction… wise person you are…

Interesting…I never put much effort into figuring it out, but my brain does parse it as a the slightly easier to understand, if nonsensical, “that date guy.”
