How Republican are you?

I must say the results are somewhat accurate. Of course, it’s a rather short quiz, so there isn’t a lot of room for fine tuning. One misplaced vote could swing 10+ percentage points.

I am:
62%
Republican.

“I bet you’d like Democrats okay if they wouldn’t keep handing out your paycheck to urban welfare cheats, right? (And you probably don’t want me to be saying anything about ‘urban’ being some kind of code word, I bet.)”

Are You A Republican?

Take the test. It’s interesting. Some of the questions didn’t exactly have the answer that fit me best, but there was something near in most cases.

Culinary Concoctions: Commence Drooling

Raspberry TartIf you like food at all, you must visit and begin reading Culinary Concoctions by Peabody.  Not only are the recipes quite good, the pictures are drool worthy.

Take for instance the pictures that accompanied the article Toto, we’re not in 6th grade anymore.  A pleasant story followed up with an excellent recipe for a raspberry tart.  And the pictures?  Well, take a look at the one that I added here from that article.  Amazing food photography.  Good enough to eat.  Or make you want to eat rather.

Damn tasty looking food.

Wootyfishing

Ok, so I’ve been known to watch Woot! on occasion for a good deal or three.  I recently bought a wireless mouse for my home desktop for a ridiculously low amount.  Another site I visit occasionally is Jellyfish.

Today, Woot! is having a world famous Woot-off and Jellyfish is having a Smack-a-thon.  Both sites normally have only one item a day, but when they are running these specials, they repeatedly offer a new product nearly as fast as the last sells out.  Talk about keeping your eyes glued to your screen and a work distraction.

So today I’m Wootyfishing.  That’s my new word for the two of them together.

Axapta Source

I’ll be honest upfront, I know very little about Axapta beside what it does(vaguely) and where it’s made(Fargo, ND).  Jake on the other hand does Axapta for a living and as a result seems to know it pretty well.  That’s why he’s started Axaptasource.com.  A blog on Axapta and the resources that he comes across when he finds something he doesn’t know.  Should be a pretty good read if you’re into AX at all.  Could get pretty dry if you aren’t.  😉

Stop by and wish Jake well!
